Submissions

How to Submit Your Entry:

  1. Complete the Entry Form using the Google Submission Form
  2. Assemble a submission package with the following:
    • Your film including all titles.
    • 0:30 clip from your film to be shown at the awards night.
    • 0:10 clip from your film to be used in a film montage.
SUBMISSION DEADLINE
All student filmmakers must fill out an entry form using the Google submission form for each film submitted. Films and clips MUST be on a hard drive ready to be picked up by a member of the Greenfield staff no later than 12:00PM, FRIDAY, MARCH 23, 2012.

Instructions for Video Submission

  1. Prepare (3) film files as Quicktime, .AVI, .WMV, or any type of MPEG:
    • 3 Files include: Full film, :30 clip, :10 clip
    • Please make sure the file size is under 2GB
  2. Name each file using the following format
    • 2-letter school code-2 letter category code-Film Title-Lead Filmmaker’s last name-cliplength
    i. ex. UD-NA-My Film-Smith-30
    ii. See the table below for school & category codes
  3. Create a folder including all three files, labeled with the name of the film
  4. Organize films into three folders for each category (Narrative, Documentary, Experimental)
  5. Copy folders and files to an external hard drive to be picked up on Friday, March 23rd
